New to the guitar world is the new 'Natterjack' Distortion unit from Krozka Sharpe Guitars. This handmade unit is designed to be retro-fitted into your guitar. (A small hole through your guitar body or scratchplate and wired accross the jack socket terminals.)
The mini-toggle switch is hot-wired giving 3 sound options : off, distortion and extra-distortion.
For best results a beefy pickup is needed - perfect with our New 'Justice' and 'The Judge' Humbuckers designed for Bobby Ferrara (US Endorsee & Demonstrator) and played though a clean amp. No volume jump, no loss of quality and no compression.
The best news is that the 'Natterjack' Distortion is passive - no battery needed!
The 'Natterjack' Distortion , is named after the infamous Natterjack toad (Bufo calamita). The toads are claimed to be the noisiest amphibian in Europe.
